Ladies & Gentlemen:

This list serve is an extremely helpful and educational tool for each member
of the list.  Responding to Mark's comments regarding keeping track of
message threads, might I suggest that when a post is made that we attempt to
use more consistency in identifying the subject matter. Even if you have the
ability to search you e-mails for a particular term, it makes it easier to
locate a past post if the subject line remains unchanged or standardized.

E.G. If all postings regarding MERS begin with "MERS" then it is easy to
change the index on accumulated e-mails to "subject" (at least with
Outlook/Outlook Express) and then all the e-mails regarding MERS will appear
together. Where we have "Service on MERS" and "MERS" as subjects they will
not appear adjacent to each other in the e-mail lists. Note that
Outlook/Outlook Express will enter a "re:" into a reply but that does change
the indexing.

Some day the Supreme Court will recognize that one should get CLE credit for
just monitoring the listserve.

Best regards to you all on a cold day in Iowa (heaven?)

Rick Bierman
