Good morning, I have a commercial property owner client that has had a mechanic's lien filed against it recently by a contractor hired by my client. This was the first filing, and the work was done approximately 2 years ago. I have read through Chapter 572 but I wanted to confirm that my client should not have received a notice earlier, i.e. within 90 days after the work was finished, etc. There is a dispute over the work as well.
