Joe –
I believe that any requirement relative to the disclosure of Emerald Ash Borers would arise under Iowa’s Residential Real Property Disclosure Statute, but only if the seller knows (or reasonably should know)
that there is an infestation that impacts the property. The below link is to a page on the subject from the Iowa Association of Realtors website.

Subject: [ISBA RealEstate] Closings--Notice to Buyer--Emerald Ash Borer
Friends,
Today I discovered that my local relator includes a “Notice to Buyer—Emerald Ash Borer” with his closing disclosures. Do you all do the same thing? And if so, other than being a good practice, is there a requirement
to do so? Thanks in advance for your comments.
