Members of the Jury: This case arises from a motor vehicle rear-end collision that occurred on November 20, 2017, on Merle Hay Road in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. Defendant Mary King’s vehicle collided into the rear of Plaintiff Katie Streff’s vehicle. Plaintiffs allege that Defendant Mary King was negligent in causing the collision. Plaintiffs further allege that Katie Streff was injured as a result of the collision and that her injuries resulted in damages.

Defendant Mary King admits that a collision occurred and admits that she was responsible for causing the collision. Defendant Mary King disputes the nature and extent of Plaintiffs’ injuries and damages caused by the collision
