Statement of Case:
This case arose from a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision that occurred on May 2, 2019 in Des Moines between Plaintiff Tyler DeMaranville and Defendant Bridgette Lockman. The Plaintiff alleged that Defendant was at fault for the collision and that Defendant’s fault was a cause of Plaintiff’s injuries. Defendant admits she was at fault for the collision but denies that all of Plaintiff’s claimed injuries were caused by the accident. Defendant also denies that Plaintiff was injured as severely as he claims. At trial, the jury awarded Plaintiff $36,355.09 in damages. |
