CHAMBER OF COMMERCE - MAP
Opinion:
You have requested an opinion as to the propriety of your participating in the publication of a map of your community and its surrounding area. You have furnished the Board with documentation concerning this publication.
The document of solicitation for this map by the Chamber of Commerce indicates that it is considered by them to be advertising and is so charged by them.
It is the opinion of the Board that it would not be improper for you to participate in this advertising provided the ad itself consists only of a professional card as follows:
Name, identification as a lawyer, address, and telephone and fax numbers.
To the foregoing may be added “e-mail address.”
No disclosure is necessary if the foregoing is complied with.
